Padam Mobility is looking for a bid manager to scale our tender answering, increase the quality of our proposals and ensure high winning rates.

Responsibilities:

You will lead and assist the Sales team in answering public and private tenders, especially in France and in the UK.

As a bid manager, you will coordinate all teams contributing to answering tenders, including sales, pre-sales, customer service, and corporate. You will be responsible for the organisation of the answering process from go/no go decision, ensuring the bid process is followed in a timely manner, creating documents for internal assessment on the bid and to be used in internal validation in line with policy.

As a bid manager, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining a high-quality knowledge base to ease tender answering. You will also improve responses by including how we help local and regional governments achieve their policy.

A strong sense of ownership and drive is needed.

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high-win rate by defining and implementing tendering answering process and responsibilities

  • Oversee our RfP knowledge base, building and maintaining materials to ensure our tender response efficiency

  • Lead proposal answering, from administrative response to final answer validation, including:

    • Initial scoping of the opportunity to understand customer needs
    • Lead tender product analysis with pre-sales team
    • Go through go / no go decision process
    • Development of the response strategy including value proposition and win themes with sales team
    • Ensuring all tender response documents are centralised and their use clear
    • Own the tender review document and ensure all internal stakeholders contribute
    • Go through tender validation in line with internal process
Profile

Requirements for the role:

  • Excellent level of English and French speaking and written (read bi-lingual);
  • Experience of managing short term projects, coordinating multiple teams and tight deadlines;
  • Rigorous, results driven, planning and focus are the skills that will help you succeed;
  • Experience in a similar bid management role or another role meaning you have the necessary skills;
  • Knowledge of Salesforce not mandatory but would be appreciated;
  • Excellent relationship skills, team player;
  • You are highly results-oriented . You’re not fully satisfied until you’ve met your objectives;
  • Knowledge of public transport sector not mandatory but would be appreciated;
  • Easy to work with, autonomous in day-to-day work and highly reliable;
  • Open and curious. You’re innovative and creative, constantly looking for ways to improve things, solving problems is something you enjoy and are good at;
  • You’re fun to work with and you don’t take yourself too seriously;
