What is UNESCO Green Citizens?

UNESCO Green Citizens is an initiative that highlights and supports environmental citizen-led projects. As a UN agency, UNESCO wants to bring about policy changes and remind decision-makers of the need to act, quickly. To shed light on inspiring projects created by citizens on the ground, we launched UNESCO Green Citizens. This initiative promotes innovative projects in UNESCO's fields of expertise (Education for Sustainable Development, Biodiversity, Ocean, Hydrology, and Local and Indigenous Knowledge). Its platform enables project leaders to be put in contact with citizens wishing to help on a voluntary basis, companies, the media, associations etc.

The role:

You will write articles for the UNESCO Green Citizens website and contribute to the improvement of the platform's SEO (netlinking, keywords, texts, images, meta tags...) with our digital communications consultant. You will also contribute to our newsletter, our monthly analytics reports, and the management of our LinkedIn and Whatsapp groups
