Smartway (Zéro-Gâchis) est une aventure humaine sincère et impliquée dans la lutte contre le gaspillage alimentaire.

Un magasin alimentaire jette autant que ce qu’il gagne ! Alors que de plus en plus de consommateurs sont dans le besoin, lutter contre ce gaspillage doit être une priorité : les magasins peuvent aujourd’hui y remédier, tout en augmentant leur rentabilité.

Entreprise engagée depuis 2012, à l’origine des rayons « Zéro-Gâchis », Smartway a créé le premier Food Waste Management System pour optimiser le parcours des produits alimentaires en fin de vie.

Reposant sur une intelligence artificielle unique, les solutions Smartway guident les équipes en magasin pour détecter les produits approchant de leur date de péremption et décider de la meilleure façon de les revaloriser : étiquetage d’une remise pertinente ou don simplifié aux associations caritatives.

Working hours : Full time in Smart working to coordinate with frequent business trips

Approximate Annual Gross Salary : 35 000 € - 45 000 € fixed + a variable part (depending on experience)

Job Description :

  • The Business Developer will carry out a prospecting for new customers and he/she will have to actively develop the sales network.
  • He/she will have to develop the customer portfolio, enabling the company to position itself in the Italian market.
  • He/she will have the task of promoting the solution proposed by the company and will have to guide the customer in the integration of the latter in his/her shop.
  • He/she will have a high degree of autonomy and will be responsible for the tasks crucial to the success of the project.

Main tasks :

  • Promoting the image and offer of the company’s “Food Waste Management System” with the main large-scale retail trade brands.
  • Developing the company’s activity on the Italian territory. This implies research operations of potential new customers (through e-mails, calls and meetings).
  • Developing the company’s turnover in large-scale organised distribution.
  • Ensuring the commercial follow-up of customer relations, their satisfaction and performance throughout the duration of the project.
  • He/she will have a high degree of autonomy as the only employee representing the company in Italy and will be responsible for the tasks crucial to the success of the project with the International Key Account Team based in France”.
Profile

Professional experience required :

  • Previous experience in a related role,
  • Being entrepreneurial and proactive,
  • Experience in retail, food retail and B2B solution sales,
  • Knowledge of sales and retention techniques (finding new customers, selling, basics of business law,
  • negotiation skills, persuasion skills).

Hard skills :

  • English and Italian: speak and write fluently,
  • Willingness to travel: 4 or 5 days a week. A driving licence is required,
  • Possess good communication skills with senior management and interlocutors,
  • Understanding and analysing customers’ needs and proposing solutions that meet them,
  • Management of own time and priorities,
  • Excellent problem solving skills (handling possible disputes with clients, claims or moments of crisis,
  • emergencies, with good resistance to stress),
  • Being able to get involved with technology and IT.

Soft skills :

  • Knowledge of French will be considered a plus,
  • Knowledge of the use of CRM software, the Microsoft package and Google tools,
  • Mastery of numbers, statistical analysis and results analysis,
  • Ensure the traceability of information and check its quality (reports/accounts),
  • Ability to identify a problem, report it and mobilise the team,
  • Aptitude for team and multidisciplinary work,
  • Have the ability to implement a project and put solutions into operation.
