Context and team 🤝

Phenix aspires to ascend as an impact unicorn, which puts its social and environmental commitment at the heart of its activities. The journey towards saving one billion meals remains ahead, marked by a trajectory characterized by profitability, sustainability and healthy growth.

As the Head of Brand and Communication, you pearhead Phenix’ corporate communication and branding strategy. You develop and deliver long-term integrated communications strategy and narrative in support of targets and objectives of Phenix in France, Spain and Portugal, as well as the company brand, reputation and employee engagement. You will manage a team of three people: a copywriter, a designer and a social network specialist. Reporting directly to our CMO, you will play a crucial role as a member of our Marketing Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities 📝

Social Media:

  • Define and execute the Social Media strategy for Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook

  • Leverage social media analytics to assess and refine the effectiveness of our initiatives

  • Search for Partners and synchronize our collaboration

Content:

  • Coordinate the production of engaging content (editorial, visual, video...) for the various channels (website, social networks, newsletters, etc.)

  • Propose adaptable content for Spain and Portugal, and monitoring of translations

  • Own and manage the editorial calendar

Press and public relations

  • Manage our PR agency

  • Write and update content for journalists (press kit, iconography, press releases...)

  • Support our founder in his speeches (research of figures, Q&A...), in the media and on Linkedin

Brand and design

  • Manage the production and design of marketing materials to ensure alignment with the company's vision.

  • Write briefs for the graphic designer and monitor production, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Manage one brand designer to produce engaging branding materials.

  • Ensure all branding materials (website, blogs, social media, etc.) are consistent and visually appealing.

  • Exceptional writing skills with an emphasis on creative storytelling.

  • Creative, accurate and open to innovative ideas. Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and aesthetics. Rigorous in approach.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • At least 7 years' experience in corporate or agency communications.

  • Initial successful management experience.

  • Fluent in French and English.

  • A public affairs experience is an asset.

  • Sensitivity to the fight against food waste.

  • 5 years of higher education, specialized in communications or marketing.
