Our team has executed over 150 transactions, at Enexus and prior to Enexus, in the FMCG, agri-business, manufacturing, chemicals, logistics, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, infrastructure and financial sectors in more than 30 African countries.
Enexus offers M&A and fundraising services to midcap companies in sub-Saharan Africa. We also provide pure advisory services, when our services can pave the way to an investment transaction.
Enexus is active in both East and West Africa, in francophone and anglophone countries, and most of our mandates are cross-border transactions involving investors from Africa, Europe and Asia.
Description
As an Analyst Intern at Enexus, you will participate in:
· Market research on the African private sector:
· Assistance in the execution of a M&A or fundraising transaction, including:
This internship at Enexus will provide the intern with an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. In addition to gaining a deep knowledge of various industries in Africa, the intern will be exposed to M&A and fundraising processes.
Duration
6 months, available to start between January 1 and July 1, 2022.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with the following profile:
· The position is for a final-year internship (“stage de fin d’études”);
· M2 student at a top business or engineering school or university, with a specialization in economy, finance or any other field with significant coursework related to these areas;
· Internship experience in corporate finance and/or private sector development in a financial institution (e.g. M&A boutique, private equity or debt fund, bank, development finance institution);
· Strong work ethic, high level of autonomy, analytical and synthetic skills, proactive and perseverant mindset;
· Fluent in French and English.
