What we are looking for

CarbonFarm is looking for a climate-passionate software engineer to develop a suite of web applications. Be it collecting data from farmers in the field or visualising carbon footprints, we looking for an engineer that comfortable managing both front-end interfaces and back-end data flows.

Responsibilities

develop simple mobile app (Kotlin, Flutter) to gather data from field
create reliable, scalable web app to visualise geospatial data
manage back-end data flows and data access
design, populate, synchronise databases and storage technologies

Qualifications

4+ years experience as a software engineer
a genuine problem solve, not scared of new technologies
bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or engineering
professional proficiency in JS, Java/Kotlin
working experience with JS frameworks such as React and Vue
competency working with document-based and SQL database
attention to detail
proven record of shipping features on time
flexible and focussed on solutions
organised and self-sufficient
