CarbonFarm is looking for a Mobile App Developer to join our nature-based climate mission!

Smallholder farmers are too often forgotten from the climate picture. At CarbonFarm, we're helping them earn a better living through sustainable agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in building the next phase of mobile app functionality at CarbonFarm. From the outset, expect to be involved in creating software crucial for the day-to-day operations of our clients & partners.

Develop cross-platform mobile apps to enable data collection in the field
Integrating the mobile apps into the wider data workflows
Engage in the design process, helping to create mobile apps that are useful, intuitive, and robust
Create geospatial visualisations using industry standard mapping libraries
Collaborate with stakeholders on the team, and with our clients

A university degree in the domain of Software Engineering or similar—the precise degree matters less than having the right skillset!
A minimum of two years of related work experience
Working knowledge of cross platform mobile app development frameworks (e.g. React Native)
Attention to detail
Organised, flexible and self-sufficient
Keen interest in learning new technologies
French is not a requirement as we use English in the office (though it’s useful for day-to-day life).
