We are looking for our first Sales Engineer !

You’ll have a key role at the crossroad between our development & sales teams. The primary role of the Sales Engineer would be to communicate and demonstrate the features, capabilities, and benefits of using Bodyguard. You’ll have an extensive knowledge of our product & tech and you will build our analytical sales strategy.

As a member of the Sales Ops team, you will work directly on all of our 5 main Business verticals to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling tech demonstrations and ultimately close business.

Your role

  • Provide technical guidance to the Sales team during the entire pre-sales process
  • Present our technology, answer questions and provide technical expertise to prospects & clients’ technical team
  • Craft & deliver a B2B demo
  • Own technical engagement during the trial phase, work on any identified issues or concerns to successful conclusion
  • Build data reports & analytics tools with the Sales team
  • Remain up-to-date on Bodyguard technology, closely collaborating with all Development squads, Product Management and Marketing teams to continuously improve our solution
  • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and understand the competitive landscape (what makes our technology better than competition)
  • May take part in trade-shows and industry conferences to represent Bodyguard, our technology and our vision
  • Opportunity to build the Sales Engineer team as we keep growing


  • Strong knowledge on SQL (PostgreSQL)
  • Good software engineering skills with Python or Javascript
  • Experience working with developer communities and APIs

You might be a fit if you have

  • 2+ years of experience in a data related role
  • A deep interest about both data & sales
  • Experience facing clients of all backgrounds (from individual contributors to high-level profiles such as CTO or Lead Developers)
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts
  • Complete English proficiency (any other language is a strong plus!)
  • The desire to join an impact project
