What is your mission?

Within Beyond Education, as the Project Management Assistant, you will support the project manager/and co-founders team with the scale up and implementation of the company’s products globally. You will have ownership over the implementation process of our digital products and services, from helping to create an effective operations process, through managing the implementation process on the ground to ensuring the quality control and delivering business results. Within the key areas below, you will:

  • PLANNING
  • Plan, lead, organize and control multiple project initiatives in accordance with approved scope and schedule.
  • Build the structure to scale to grow with the strategy of the company, and define roles and responsibilities for the implementation team in supporting operations
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget - in order to do that develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and resource availability
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • EXECUTION
  • Manage implementation of new business end-to-end, maintaining communication throughout the course of the project to meet customer expectations.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • CONTROL
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. Quantify and enhance operational performance through creation of KPI metrics reports and status reports to internal and external stakeholders. Report to the co-founders team.
  • Develop operations documentation, QA and test procedures.
Profile

Experience and education

  • Direct customer facing and implementation delivery experience.
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid experience of working in a complex environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Either Bachelor's (BTC in operations) in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Strong on the field experience (organized big events, or has implemented some concrete operations of a project - even in an NGO.…)
  • Experience with project management software tools
  • Command of Portuguese is a plus
