Mission
Onboard the Datascience Team, you will take part of transforming complex business problems related to climate and environment impact into data-oriented solutions.
The DataScience Team strives to deliver the state-of-the-art models and algorithms on a wide range of topics: flood modelling, wildfire propagation, crop classification and monitoring, climate change, etc. Our solutions rely on the most accurate data coming from a wide range of datasources – including satellite data from different constellations.
The acquisition and the optimization of the processing of these data is therefore core and essential for Axa Climate to ensure the quality and level of service of our solutions.
Our main clients are financial funds, investors, big or mid-cap corporates, governments or PPP, cooperatives, industrials, large farming exploitations dealing with all kinds of crops.
Main roles and responsibilities
Under the supervision of the subject matter experts and the lead data scientist, you will contribute as a Data Engineer to deliver high-quality solutions with the main responsibilities:
- Set up robust and scalable data acquisition pipelines.
- Set in production through our production-ready compute units the algorithms developed by your peers.
- Ensure the performance of the algorithms set in production.
- Ensure the monitoring and the execution of the data acquisition pipelines.
