The Climate School is part of Axa Climate (Corporate site, Linkedin), who has developed complete business lines to help tackle climate change adaptation (Climate School, Insurance, Industry/Agri/Finance/Public Adaptation). Globally, we a team of 100 climate experts, headquartered in Paris, spread over 5 continents and driven by the same desire for impact. The Sales Team is dedicated to finding and securing new clients, in France and abroad. Each business developer has a geographical and sectorial perimeter, collectively discussed, and is autonomous on the sale from identifying prospects to closing the deal. The business developer role is to detect new opportunities in their vertical, get meetings with key large accounts clients, convince them to do business with us and handle the negotiation and contract part.

The Business Developer can rely on our legal team for contractualization, on the whole Sales Team for help or advice ; he/she will also be in close link with the Marketing Team for tools, inbound leads, and market discussions.

  • Experience: you have a previous successfull experience in a business development role, ideally B2B
  • Great communication & listening skills
  • Rigorous and organized
  • Client-centric : you like to resolve problems for clients and create a real partnership with the people you’re working for
  • Business-oriented : you like negociation and find new business opportunities
  • Positive mindset, faces setbacks and challenges with enthusiasm
  • Experience and/or interest in the Sustainability / ESG sector is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
