Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is one of Europe’s newest and most exciting high-tech companies. Backed by Saft-Total, Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz, ACC is set to power the future of the automotive industry by innovating in battery technology.

We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a cleaner alternative to current energy sources. We have created an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in Nouvelle Aquitaine, France, and we are building gigafactories in Germany and Italy, in addition to the one already built in Hauts de France.

Overall job definition :

The IT Operations Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing IT systems within the company. Its role is essential to ensure the availability, performance and security of applications and databases of IT systems of the company's.

Main missions

The IT Operations Engineer is responsible for :

Database Management:

- Administer and maintain databases (SQL).
- Optimize query performance and monitor data integrity.
- Implement backups and disaster recovery plans.

Scheduling:

- Schedule and automate recurring tasks (batches, processing, etc.).
- Use scheduling tools (PagerDuty Runbook Automation) to run processes at specific times.

Supervision Applicative :

- Identify and resolve incidents and performance issues.
- Set up alerts and dashboards to track the status of applications.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development teams, system administrators, and architects.
- Participate in systems evolution projects and propose improvements.

Knowledge :

- Experience in the design and maintenance of network, servers and PC infrastructure. - Ability to write procedures and technical architecture documentations.
- Ensure the deployment and participate in the change management.
- Participate actively in transverse projects.
- In-depth knowledge of databases (SQL).
- Mastery of scheduling tools (PagerDuty, Runbook Automation, etc.).
- Experience in application monitoring (Zabbix use and administration, etc.).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience :

Graduate of a computer science engineering school or a university degree in computer science (Master's level), with at least 6 years of experience in an equivalent position. Or 3 years of higher education with at least 10 years of experience in an equivalent position. Fluent English required.

Qualifications :

Bac + 5

- Active participation in transversal projects.

- Relevant experience in the field of computer operations.
- Knowledge of the industrial environment
