About the job

Your main responsibility will be to make sure all finance processes run smoothly across different ventures and across the group. You will help to deliver to, at any given time, an accurate financial position of all Companies and to interpret and analyze financial data to make decisions.

Your tasks include:

  • Ensure bank statements reconciliations by gathering and balancing bank statements with accounting books;
  • Verify and approve or decline purchase orders ensuring that they are properly recorded on accounting system;
  • Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payables detail and respective control accounts; 
  • Document classification with a proper management tracking in order to provide financial numbers support for a proper finance and planning analysis;
  • Keep all databases properly updated;
  • Book and reconcile online tools reports on/ with accounting books;
  • Support month-end and year-end closing process;
  • Perform regular critical reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L;
  • Advise the Management on accounting issues and special transactions;
  • Assist the Management and the teams by providing accurate financial information. 

Your profile

  • Between 1 to 3 years of work experience in accounting, ideally with a bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Competent written and verbal English communication
  • Excel/Spreadsheet skills
  • Close attention to detail 
  • Customer orientated
  • Proactive, strong critical thinking, problem solving and efficient communication skills
  • Accounting system knowledge: Xero/ Quickbooks/ or other software, a plus!
  • Experience in a multinational/consulting environment, a plus!
