At MakeSense, we believe that everything is interconnected: to solve today’s social and environmental issues, everyone in society has a role to play.

Our mission is to free up the energies & provide support to all players to collectively solve the issues they care about.

We take citizens, entrepreneurs and organisations in a journey of inspiration, empowerment and transformation.

Every citizen can engage with any cause in his or her city by helping social entrepreneurs solve their challenges, through creativity workshops. The best solutions brought by social entrepreneurs will then be accelerated within the MakeSense incubator network. Afterwards, they will be connected to companies and institutions to scale their impact, thanks to collaboration programs. We also support organisations in becoming better brands, better businesses and better organisations to work in.

MakeSense is an international team composed of 70+ people based in France, Mexico, Senegal, Lebanon, the Philippines and Peru. We like to think of ourselves as an innovation lab internally as we always experiment with new organizationational models that put autonomy, responsibility and kindheartedness at the heart of everything we do. Impact is as at the center of our work and we love to continuously learn and share our best practices. As in our community, we turn every challenge that we spot into collectively-built solutions.

In 2018, we strengthen our in-house communication team. To start the year , for the 1st quarter, we are looking for a freelancer, expert in communication strategy design and implementation.

Your role will be to help us go from a brand book to a successful launch!

Communication Strategy

- From our brand book, you will structure and write up brand and communication toolkits for each of our audiences

- Write-up accurate institutional messages and communication guidelines for each target and communication channel

- Help build a diffusion plan for the 1st quarter, hand-in-hand with the teams, including an editorial calendar for social networks.

- PR (press relation) strategy -  production of press releases and media kit, internal and external newsletters.


Follow up with the implementation our rebranding implementation process internally. The process has already been designed, we need help on making it happened on time!

You will have 2 main interlocutors:

-   Leila Hoballah, co-founder of MakeSense and co-lead of the rebranding process

-   Daniel Buendia, online brand and communication manager

Most of the production work should be delivered in February. March will be more dedicated to coordination.


  • You have a portfolio of similar projects you have worked on

  • You have excellent writing skills in English and French

  • You are passionate about online media and communication tools

  • You're autonomous but can easily report and synchronize with others

  • You have strong organizational and coordination skills

  • You have worked on similar audiences and communication channels

You must be able to come to Paris regularly for meetings.
