Online and in real life, MakeSense inspires citizens about the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals and gives them concrete tools to help tackle them. Every citizen can engage with any cause in his or her city by helping social entrepreneurs solve their challenges, through creativity workshops. The best solutions brought by social entrepreneurs will then be accelerated within the MakeSense incubator network. Afterwards, they will be connected to companies and institutions to scale their impact, thanks to collaboration programs.

Your role will be to design and implement (from scratch) a communication strategy for the MakeSense ecosystem. Working in a new team of 4 people, you will be in charge of :
▶Hand-in-hand with each expertise team (Community and Media, Incubation, Internal Transformation & Sales Team) you will Map MakeSense’s stakeholders and targets in order to write-up accurate messages, identify accurate channels and build a diffusion plan.
▶ Write-up wording / pitching guidelines for MakeSense in general as well as for each target that will be used across Europe.
▶ Steering the production of articles.
▶ Coordination of our rebranding process.
▶ Calendar of regional announcements (Europe) (ex : new brand launch).
▶ Media requests and follow ups.
▶ Collect and distribute stories about projects and programs from staff, community and partners.
▶ Take part in a monthly global communication committee with the regional communications reference people and business unit referents.
▶ Quality check of all communication supports.
Press & institutional communications
▶ Development and update of press files.
▶ Participation in the development of press releases, press kit, internal and external newsletters.
▶ Map influencers + contact + follow up.
▶ Measure and report on the effectiveness of communications activities
▶ Coach people in the team as well as those who will take part in communication projects.
Minimum 3 years of working experience, ideally with experiences in both companies or NGOs and in an communication / advertising or branding agency
You are good at explaining complex things in a simple way and engaging people in your projects
You have excellent writing skills.
You are proactive and solution-driven
Important : You are fluent in English and French
You are comfortable with experimentation/failure
You have experience managing teams
Basic skills on sales tracking and conversion is a big plus
Basic skills on marketing tools and implementation of corporate messages is a big plus
You are passionate about online media and communication tools
You're autonomous but can easily report and synchronize with others
You communicate with confidence in front of different kinds of audiences
You have strong organizational and coordination skills

Contract & Salary: CDI, depending on level of experience
