Hand-in-hand and with the support of the media content team and the community developers team, you'll work on the pre-production of your roadshow for a month. This will include:

  • Community links: fine-tuning the collaboration processes between you, the world-wide MakeSense community and the engagement team to make your journey smooth
  • Logistics: finalizing the organization of your journey (flights, accommodations, VISA, …)

In order to engage the maximum number of people on global issues all around the world, MakeSense creates and shares inspiring content. Stories of people and projects are spotted by the engagement and content teams to be highlighted through different formats: video, text, image, podcast, etc. After the first MakeSense documentary series, Waynak, which has been screened in 20+ countries (and has been screened at Festival de Cannes!), we are looking to create the next version in a guerilla way. To make this happen, you have to master :

  • Storytelling & editorial: sharing stories with a casual, accurate and dynamic style
  • Interview leading and recording (at the same time): audio and video
  • Photography: illustrating your journey and share the behind-the-scenes adventure
  • Video, photo, audio editing: making the most of the content recorded to make it fit with the editorial angle defined previously

You will use social media as your favorite logbook during your three-month trip! You will share the encounters, adventures and anecdotes along your journey on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook live and Twitter with 55k followers on Facebook, 18K on Twitter and a growing community on the others. You will address this growing audience to make them travel from their couch and give them the will to click, get up and get involved!
