Online and in real life, MakeSense inspires citizens about the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals and gives them concrete tools to help tackle them. Every citizen can engage with any cause in his or her city by helping social entrepreneurs solve their challenges, through creativity workshops. The best solutions brought by social entrepreneurs will then be accelerated within the MakeSense incubator network. Afterwards, they will be connected to companies and institutions to scale their impact, thanks to collaboration programs.

Your role will be to implement a strong marketing and communication strategy and to equip the team with the correct internal communication tools .

After a proper training, you will be in charge of:

  • Supporting MakeSense’s rebranding process
    MakeSense is moving from different names to a monolithic brand approach. You will be in charge of following up with the branding agency from the competition until the new identity is fully delivered.
    You will also ensure the implementation of the new brand identity and guidelines within the team.

  • Managing the relationship with our digital and physical communication suppliers (agencies as well as social platforms or tools)

  • Defining a marketing & corporate communication strategy for MakeSense in Europe

  • Hand-in-hand with each expertise team (Community and Media, Incubation, Internal Transformation + Sales Team) and thanks to the newly consolidated brand platform, you will map MakeSense’s stakeholders and targets in order to write-up accurate messages, identify accurate channels and build a diffusion plan.

  •  Developing and managing a strong internal corporate culture. You will ensure that corporate culture is consistent across all communications (internal and external) and that drives brand awareness and like-ability.

  • Driving corporate message development, pitching and sales. You will write-up wording / pitching guidelines for MakeSense in general as well as for each target that will be used across Europe. You will put in place, hand-in-hand with the CRM team, the tracking of sales conversion.

  • Understanding Europe target market --> Develop the right tools to better understand target markets across the different expertise teams (audits, surveys, focus groups…) and work closely with the sales team to nurture them with market / communication insights. Work closely with the Sales and the CRM team to understand client paths and competitors.

  • Mapping MakeSense Europe’s needs and drive the announcement strategyYou will continuously be in contact with the different expertise to understand their communication agenda and collect their stories, news and activities to tell and share. Based on those and the communication strategy, you will coordinate the calendar of regional announcements (Europe) (ex : new brand launch).

  • Taking part in a global discussion. The European marketing and communications coordinator will take part in a monthly global communications committee with the regional communications reference people to exchange best practices.


  • Two years of working experience, ideally with experiences in both companies or NGO and in an communication / advertising or branding agency

  • You are passionate about online media and communication tools

  • You are fluent in English

  • You are good at explaining complex things in a simple way and engaging people in your projects

  • You are proactive and solutions-oriented

  • You are comfortable with experimentation/failure

  • You communicate with confidence in front of different kinds of audiences

  • You have strong organizational and coordination skills

  • You're autonomous but can easily report and synchronize with others

Contract & Salary: CDI, depending on level of experience
