Visit.org is a NY-based for-profit travel startup that offers online booking for travel tours & experiences directly from nonprofits around the globe. Our tours are the most authentic and culturally-rich offerings in today's travel market and are guaranteed to be the highlight of any itinerary. Host organizations reinvest proceeds into programs that benefit local communities. We’re looking for a marketing & social media intern to join our co-founder in Bordeaux (France) during the 3 month 33 entrepreneurs accelerator program.
What will you do?
- Research, reach out to, and manage relationships with relevant student groups and academic programs in Europe/US
- Use social media tools to reach out to our target market
- Support production of beautiful videos, images, and other visual content
- Come up with creative ideas for marketing strategies and campaigns`
Craft content for our Facebook Account
Craft content for our Twitter account
Craft content for visit.org Instragram account
Design and implement creative cross-channels campaigns
Use social media tools to look for partners, ambassadors, visitors
Research and create business partnership opportunities within the travel industry
Coordinate and organize speaking opportunities to introduce our company at different industry-relevant events
The right candidate:
Is independent, takes the initiative, and sees the big picture while executing small, day-to-day details
Has a creative mind that never stops generating innovative marketing & communications ideas
Has experience in marketing (travel marketing would be a plus)
Has superior English and French writing skills / Spanish is a plus
Is not afraid to try new and innovative social media campaigns
Has experience managing Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts
Experience with Flickr and Photography skills are a plus
What do we offer?
You will receive a stipend of €485 per month. You will increase your knowledge of the global tech, tourism & social good sector and gain substantial, easily demonstrable international experience in your areas of interest. Experts in the industry will guide your work. We work at the 33entrepreneurs space in Bordeaux.
Timeline & Commitment:
Start September 7, commit to 3 months, 35 hours a week.
