Since we launched the beta-version of adapt as a side project in March 2020, adapt has had more than 16k users, with a significant return rate (>30%) of recurring users (5,000 users) with no marketing budget (“word of mouth” only, and some sustainability challenges participation). We’re hiring a digital marketing apprentice to develop & foster the largest community of climate-friendly households in the world, mainly through digital media.
To do so, her/his main responsibilities will be:
- Content creation, based on the energy/climate expertise of the founding team and our partners
- Create visuals (for social media)
- Write articles & infographics (for our blog, newspaper, blogs etc.)
- Make videos (for social media)
- Record podcasts
- Write newsletters.
- Etc.
- Growth hacking, based on adapt strategy to maximise its impact
- Build partnerships with leading organisations on energy / climate issues
- Participate in meeting with our current leading partners on energy & climate
- Test iteration of digital marketing strategy
- Segment: what is the best audience? Best ROI?
- Target: how to target the targeted audience? Which social media (Tiktok, twitter, Insta, Facebook, etc.)? Public relations (blog, local newspapers, etc.)?
- Position: how to position adapt within the targeted audience? Is adapt a leader for the targeted audience?
- Community management of our existing & future users
- Interview and understand our users needs
- Through open discussions with the tech team, suggest any modification for the product and participate in product roadmap (UX)
- Animate a community on social media platforms
- Personalisation/adaptation to local context & specific needs to meet new users
- Help promote adapt, through translations into native language from existing content (website, blog articles, video, social media post, etc.)
- Help promote adapt, through adapting some communication / content from existing content to local context (e.g. project with a specific community)
